Angela Lindvall Creates Eco Chic T-Shirt

Embracing a greener lifestyle has endless earth-friendly benefits, not the least of which is looking affordably chic. Yoox.com’s recently launched sustainable project, YOOXYGEN, makes dressing ethically-aware easier than ever. Starting today, yoox and Edun Live (part of Bono’s clothing company) will present a special line of limited-edition music, design, and fashion-themed T-shirts for men and women, designed by green-conscious celebrities. First up is an ethereal blue-and-white tee designed by model and activist Angela Lindvall. As she describes, “My shirt was created from the shadows of trees. Our shadow side is what sometimes pushes us to grow.” Lindvall’s 100% organic cotton creation is available now on yoox.com for $39. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to Green Cross International, an environmental organization founded by former Soviet Union president Mikhail Gorbachev.
